Reduction in the GST Aggregate Turnover limit to Rs. 5 Cr for the generation of E-Invoice starting from 1st August 2023

The CBIC has announced a reduction in the GST Aggregate Turnover limit to Rs. 5 Cr for the generation of E-Invoice starting from 1st August 2023. This amendment has been made in accordance with sub-rule (4) of rule 48 of the Central Goods and Services Tax Rules, 2017, on the recommendation of the Council.
