GST officials search house of minister’s daughter - Times of India

Madurai: A team of officials from the Directorate General of GST Intelligence (DGGI) searched the residence of Indira, daughter of state rural development minister I Periyasamy, in Dindigul district on Friday.According to sources, four DGGI officials arrived at the house on Vallalar Street in R M Colony on Friday. As the news of the search spread, DMK members began to gather outside the house. Police personnel were deployed. The search went on for nearly six hours.Earlier in Aug, Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials conducted searches at the residences of the minister, his son and MLA I P Senthilkumar, and Indira, along with the textile mill she owns near Batlagundu. The present search could be related to it, said sources.
