GST officer held for graft

Pune: The state anti-corruption bureau (ACB) on Wednesday arrested Goods and Services Tax department’s state tax officer while accepting bribe of Rs1 lakh to cancel a notice sent to a supply company and unfreeze its bank accounts.  The officer, Ramkrisha Mane (45), was caught in the GST office in Yerawada. A case has been registered with the Yerawada police. tnn
